How the automatic screenshots work
The page is opened in a real browser at three widths – 390 px (phone), 820 px (tablet) and 1440 px (desktop) – and the top of the page is captured. Captures are cached for a few hours, so very fresh changes may need a re-capture later. Pages behind a login, or sites that block screenshot services, need your own screenshots. Frequently asked questions
Is the mockup generator free?
Yes. It is completely free, needs no account and adds no watermark. Automatic captures have a small daily limit per visitor; uploading your own screenshots is unlimited.
What size and quality can I download?
Full HD (1920 px), 2K (2560 px) or 4K (3840 px) as PNG, JPG or WebP. For the sharpest result upload large screenshots, e.g. 2880 px wide for desktop.
Can I use my own screenshots?
Yes. Drop a desktop, tablet and mobile screenshot into the three boxes. They stay in your browser and are never uploaded to a server.
Why is a device empty after capturing?
Some sites block screenshot services or take too long to load. Try again later, or take the screenshot yourself and upload it into that device.
