Why website speed decides your rankings and sales
Google uses Core Web Vitals as part of its page experience signals, and visitors on mobile networks leave slow pages before they see your offer. According to the HTTP Archive Web Almanac, only around 45% of WordPress sites pass Core Web Vitals on mobile, so a genuinely fast site is still a real advantage over most competitors in Egypt and the Gulf.

Google assesses these at the 75th percentile of real visits, so the goal is not a single good lab test but a site that is fast for most of your real visitors.
What I fix to reach PageSpeed 90–100
- Server response. Quality hosting, a current PHP version, page and object caching and a CDN. If the server is the bottleneck, my server management service handles it.
- The largest element. The hero image or heading is sized, compressed to WebP or AVIF and loaded with high priority.
- Render-blocking files. Critical CSS first, unused CSS removed, fonts self-hosted and preloaded.
- JavaScript. Heavy plugins, sliders, chat widgets and tracking tags are deferred, delayed or replaced.
- Stability. Width and height on media and reserved space for banners so nothing jumps.

Honest note: a score depends on what the page loads. If a site must keep several heavy third-party scripts, I tell you upfront what is realistic and which trade-offs would bring it to 90+.
Technical SEO, bilingual SEO and GEO
Speed is the foundation, but rankings also need a site that search engines can crawl and understand. I fix indexing, canonicals, redirects and structured data, and I set up Arabic and English versions with correct hreflang so each language ranks in its own market. Arabic keyword research matters: people in Egypt and the Gulf search with different words for the same service.
For GEO (generative engine optimisation), I structure key pages with direct answers, FAQs, clear entity information about your business and schema markup, so AI assistants have accurate, quotable content about you. No one can guarantee a position on Google or in an AI answer, but these are the foundations that give you the best chance.
Keep it fast after optimisation
