Overview

MedPlus Academy prepares doctors for British fellowship exams – MRCP, MRCPCH, MRCOG, MRCS and more – with year-long access to online courses. I run the platform as its IT manager and built the tools it needs around Tutor LMS.

The challenge

Doctors on yearly subscriptions create real admin work: pausing access for doctors who need a break, finding who is enrolled where, checking activity and answering the same questions again and again.

The approach

A Tutor LMS platform with landing pages for every fellowship course.
A hold manager: a doctor’s access can be paused and is extended automatically when the hold ends.
Admin tools to look up any doctor’s courses, status, dates and lesson activity, and export the directory.
Explainer videos in a popup and a neon bottom navigation bar so doctors find login, courses and certificates easily.
